“This is not acceptable and dangerous.

“Police will be patrolling the area and any persons caught will be dealt with accordingly.”

Quantas manager Emma Moodie added to the local police’s Facebook warning, saying: “It’s an unsafe environment. We dispose of glass shower enclosures, toilets, tiles, etc. So lots of hazardous things go into the skip.

“The kids have been in the skip and smashing things to create ramps. The children are generally there after we close and other people have informed us that they are there.”

She added: “Unfortunately we don’t know the parents to have a responsible chat. It’s just dangerous and we hope parents see this post and just have a word to warn them that it isn’t a playground and it is dangerous.”
