The incident happened last Thursday, December 10.

The farmer, from an outlying village who did not wish to be named, said: “My son popped out between 10.30am and 11.15am and we think he disturbed them when he returned.

“They took all our power tools from a locked bin. They crowbarred a shed, but didn’t gain access, but took an electric bike from another shed.

“They then rammed the roller door on the big shed, but that is when we think our son returned home.”

Lincolnshire Police have added their warning to the farmer’s.

A police spokesman said: “We haven’t made an arrest at this time, but we are investigating.

“We believe this could be linked to other similar incidents in the Lincoln area
