Witness appeal after fail to stop incident in Horncastle

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “At around 12.50pm on Sunday, July 19, a police motorcyclist was pursuing a blue BMW from the A158 onto Shearman’s Wath, Horncastle, in relation to the conduct of their driving, but the driver failed to stop and the pursuit continued onto Elmhirst Lane.

“A man was later arrested in Huddersfield in relation to connected offences.

“We would like to hear from anyone who may have been travelling along Shearman’s Wath, Prospect Street or Elmhirst Lane around the time and may have seen the BMW.

“Investigating officers are particularly keen in any dashcam footage of the vehicle being driven.”
