Witness appeal after fatal collision at Ludford

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage following a fatal collision at Ludford yesterday (Tuesday).

Following a call received at 11.24am yesterday (March 30), officers attended a collision on the B1225, about 200 metres south of its junction with the A631.

The collision involved two vehicles: A white Triumph motorcycle, and a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter van.

The rider of the motorcycle, a man in his 50s from the Scunthorpe area, was pronounced dead at the scene

The road was closed for some time while emergency services attended the scene. It was re-opened at around 6.30pm.
