Witness appeal after motorbike crash in Blyton

Lincolnshire Police are still appealing for witnesses after a motorbike crash in Blyton where a man died at the scene.

The fatal crash on Kirton Road, Blyton on Wednesday, April 14.

Police Sergeant James Kirk would still like to hear from anyone who saw the collision or either of the two motorcycles travelling towards the collision site.

The two motorcycles, a silver Wuyang and a blue Suzuki were travelling in the same direction, away from Blyton, on the B1205 towards the Northorpe direction.

The rider of the Wuyang motorbike, John Pirie, 34, from Kirton Road, Blyton, sadly died at the scene. The police know he had called at a local shop in Scotter before then riding towards Blyton village where they believe he turned onto the B1205, Kirton Road from the junction with the A159.

The rider of the Suzuki had also travelled from Blyton village along the B1205 Kirton Road in the same direction.
