Witness appeal after woman is robbed in Skegness

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman received minor injuries when she was robbed in Skegness.

The incident took place in Algitha Road around 11am on Wednesday, May 27, and a large amount of money was taken.

It is believed the offender may have visited the NatWest Bank on Grand Parade at the same time as the woman.

After the attack, the offender ran from the scene, jumped over a fence and through a garden into a car park behind some houses.

The man was seen to leave in a silver car. The woman was left shaken and received minor injuries.

Police say this is an unusual incident and believe someone will have seen the offender.
