Woman refused to give breath sample after crashing into wall

A BOSTON woman who refused to provide a breath sample after being involved in a crash has been ordered to carry out community work.

Santa Baruseviciene, 24, of Wyberton West Road, admitted failing to provide a sample when she appeared at Boston Magistrates Court.

She was involved in a single vehicle collision in which she hit a tree and then a wall which collapsed, damaging cars parked behind it.

She then refused to provide a sample of breath for analysis at Boston Police Station, the court was told.

She was ordered to carry out 200 hours of unpaid work for the community and banned from driving for 30 months, although she was offered the drink drivers’ rehabilitation course which will reduce the period of the ban by 30 weeks.

She was also ordered to pay £180 in court costs and charges.
