Cuckney pupils sleep in for homeless charity

Children at Cuckney Primary School spent a night on the floor of their assembly hall to raise money for homelessness and housing charity Framework.

The spirited, pyjama-clad pupils bedded down under sleeping bags and duvets on Friday night as part of Do it for Framework Day in aid of the Nottingham-based charity.

A total of 37 volunteer rough sleepers, aged between seven and 11, enjoyed a traditional school disco before settling down for the night.
