Curfew handed out to Epworth benefit cheat
Lawrence Fagence, 60, of Station Road pleaded guilty to dishonestly failing to promptly notify the Department for Work and Pensions about a change in circumstance - namely that he was living in France - which would have affected his entitlement to claim Disability Allowance between April 13, 2011 and August 27, 2013.
He was given a three month curfew to remain at his Epworth address between the hours of 7pm-7am save for when he is France for treatment. He will be electronically tagged.
He was ordered to pay the victim surcharge of £60 and costs of £85.
