William Robinson, from Newton Street, died on 10th August 2012 aged 61.
An inquest at Nottingham Coroner’s Court on Tuesday revealed he indulged in alcohol on a regular basis.

Concern for his well-being grew over the course of a few days until his neighbour, and friend of 10 years, David Walker tried the back door to his home.
HM Coroner for Notts Mairin Casey said: “The door was unlocked. Mr Walker went through the kitchen and into the lounge.”
“There were a number of empty wine bottles found in the property.”
A post mortem into his death showed recent excess alcohol consumption and concluded he died of a fatty liver.
She recorded a death of natural causes.
