Dave pushing the boat out for MS charity
One of the members of Carre's Grammar School Fitness Suite, Dave Randall, is training hard to complete a marathon (42,195 metres) rowing challenge.
This will take place on Tuesday October 4 starting at 2pm, on one of the rowing machines at Carre’s Fitness Suite and is expected to take about five hours. Dave is currently training on the ‘rowers’ in preparation. All of the money raised will be donated to Sleaford’s Multiple Sclerosis Society as Dave also suffers from this condition.
Since he started using Carre’s Fitness Facility in 2015, Dave has successfully reduced his body weight by over 10kg, reduced his blood pressure and recently, at an asthma appointment, recorded his best ever peak flow reading.
