Jude Graham (pictured), who works for Rotherham Doncaster and South Humber NHS Foundation Trust, has been elected to the position of Healthcare Practitioner on the Mental Health Network (MHN) board, which represents NHS funded mental health and learning disability providers in England, and works with government, regulators, opinion formers, media and the wider NHS to promote excellence in mental health services and the importance of good mental health.

During her three-year term on the board, Jude will be invited to attend four board meetings per year, as well as attending key events and conferences. Her role on the board is to provide expert advice, reflect the views of her area of work, and contribute to the work of the Network on policy and service development.

Congratulating Jude on her new role, RDaSH Chief Executive Christine Bain said: “I’m delighted to hear about Jude’s appointment, which is testament to her dedication to her work.

“The MHN board is held in high esteem by the mental health community as an excellent forum for debate, lobby and challenge.”

This latest accolade comes just days after Jude was invited by the University of Derby to present her doctorate research project into personality disorder at the Budapest Cohere Conference in April.

She was also nominated by Professor Mary Laurenson of the University of Hull to the Phi Mu Chapter (England) of the Sigma Theta Tau Honor International Nursing Society after achieving a 95% mark in her dissertation for the Masters in Advanced Nursing Practice, and will be formally inducted in July of this year at the University of Bournemouth.
