Derbyshire infant dies from meningitis
A Dronfield infant has died from meningitis and another is in hospital.
Public Health England spokesman confirmed one of the children had died and the other was being treated in hospital.
It is believed that doctors who had contact with the two young children were offered antibiotics as a precaution.
A meeting will take place tomorrow to discuss the cases further.
