Derbyshire: Sponsored walk raises hundreds of pounds for charity

A group of Derbyshire residents raised almost £500 for Muscular Dystrophy by completing a 10 mile sponsored walk.

The walk, from Bakewell to Darley Dale, was organised by Mick White, from Whitwell, and Richard Rourke, from Chesterfield, in conjunction with the members of the Chesterfield and Mansfield Province of the R.A.O.B.

The other walkers included Margo Young and Rosie Moore, from Clowne and Ashley Fowlds, who completed the walk in a special outfit made from balloons.
