Dinnington: Annie’s delight at lift ride
A Dinnington care home resident’s dream came true after riding the University of Sheffield’s Paternoster lift.
Annie Creek, 82, is interested in architecture and had always wanted to see the lift.
Staff at Athorpe Lodge arranged a visit with university staff, allowing Annie to see the lift and stand in it.
Athorpe Lodge’s summer fair will take place on Saturday 20th July at 2pm.
