Dinnington: Medical centre refurbishment has now been completed

Improvements to the medical centre, on New Street, include an additional room for patients to discuss confidential matters, a new nursing department, fitted reception and office space.

The Partners and Management Team at Dinnington Group Practice along with the backing of the Patient Participation Group have been seeking support from NHS Rotherham for a reburbishment of the premises since 2008.

Carolyn Partington, group manager, said: “We are now pleased to announce, that with investment from the Partners and NHS Rotherham we have been able to complete the long awaited refurbishment.”

“We were honoured to have Iain St John, one of our longest-serving members of the Patient Participation Group officially open the refurbished surgery.”

“Our aim is to continue to drive excellent care for our patients and to continuously improve.”

“We hope the renovations will improve patient experience.”
