The event has been organised by Bluebell Wood supporter Linda Swallow and it is the third time Gary Perkins and The Breeze, regarded as one of the best live acts in British country, have performed in Dinnington for the hospice.

Gary and the band perform a range of songs from upbeat country music to heartfelt ballads in their own unique style.

And Gary himself has won the top accolade for country singing in the UK again this year.

“Gary has a fantastic following both locally and countrywide and anyone who hasn’t seen him perform with The Breeze are in for a real treat,” said Linda.

“If you think you don’t like country music before coming to see the band and you will do by the time you leave.

“Bluebell Wood is a wonderful local charity which we are very proud to support.

“It costs £3million a year to keep the doors open yet, it receives less than 10 per cent Government funding.

“Every penny raised makes a huge positive difference, so I’m hoping people will come along and join us on the evening. ”

The concert takes place on October 31 at 7.30pm.

Tickets are £10 which will include a light supper and are available by contacting Linda on 07583 225496.
