Doors are ‘smashed’ in

AN enraged lover has been ordered to complete 12 months community service for ‘smashing in’ the front and back doors at his ex-girlfriend’s house.

Christopher Tindle, 20, from Knaton Road, Carlton, took a metal pole to the address in South Parade after knocking back seven or eight pints, Worksop Magistrates’ Court heard.

The relationship ended some six weeks prior to the incident occurring on 9th October. The prosecution said how Tindle had gone ‘mental and just lost it’. Andrew Osborne, defending, said Tindle had been attending anger management: “He has no intention to see her again.”

The Bench ordered him to pay £650 compensation to the homeowner and to have no contact with his ex-girlfriend living at the address.
