Drink-driver given ban

A BARLBOROUGH driver who collided with a van in a car park had drunk almost three times the legal limit.

Julie Walker’s Volvo S40 hit the Mercedes van as she pulled out of a parking space outside a Spar shop in Ash Close in the village at 7pm on 6th May.

The van driver stated that Walker, 48 ‘appeared to be out of it’. She got out of the car and could hardly walk.
