Drink-driver handed ban
A DRINK-DRIVER caught more than twice over the legal limit has been banned from the road for 20 months and fined £165.
Arthur Leongard, 27, from Market Street, Worksop, admitted to the offence which took place on the morning of Sunday 11th December.
Police attended Sandy Lane just before 10am where there had been a car crash. Officers said they could smell alcohol on him, the court heard.
David Grant, defending, said: “It was his birthday the day before and he’d had a heavy day.”
