Drink driver receives 22 month ban
Jonathan Atkinson, 22, of Laburnum Avenue in Gunness, pleaded guilty to being over twice the legal drink drive limit when he appeared before North Lincolnshire Magistrates.
He was charged with driving on the A18 in Scunthorpe on March 15 with 91 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millitres of breath - the legal limit being 35mcg.
He was fined £350, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £35 and costs of £85, he was also disqualified from driving for 22 months which will be reduced by 22 weeks if he completes an approved course.
