Driver arrested after two pedestrians in 60s were seriously injured in collision in Skegness

Police are appealing for witnesses after two pedestrians in their 60s were seriously injured in a collision.

Officers attended a report that a blue Citroen Berlingo had been in collision with the pedestrians and three parked vehicles in Winthorpe Avenue. This happened at around 6.58pm on Friday, April 16.

The pedestrians, a man and woman, were taken to hospital. Their injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

The driver of the Berlingo, a 63-year-old local man, has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving and dangerous driving. He has been released under investigation.
