Drugs fine

A MAN given amphetamine as a Christmas present has been fined for possession.

Matthew James McDonald, 25, of Church Street, Edwinstowe, admitted possession of the Class B drug at Worksop Magistrates Court.

The court heard police were called at 8.45pm on 5th January after McDonald’s car collided with another in the town.

He was seen throwing a packet over a garden wall, which was later discovered to be amphetamine.

McDonald was fined £100 and order to pay £45 towards court costs.
