East Markham: Annual apple day event
The 18th annual East Markham Apple Day takes place on Sunday.
The event, which will see more than 300 apple varieties on display, takes place at East Markham Village Hall and the Heritage Orchard and features many apple related attractions including apple tasting, a cider bar, arts and crafts stalls and a recipe book sale.
Funds raised at the event, run entirely by volunteers, will be donated to local charities.
The East Markham Apple Day was rated amongst the top 10 apple days in the country by The Daily Telegraph in a 2009 review.
