Specsavers in Southgate is holding a full clinic just for children tomorrow (Thursday), which will be running alongside a host of Easter-themed activities in store.

There will be a free egg decorating competition with prizes awarded for the best designed egg and children can also have their faces painted.

The team are aiming to encourage as many children as possible to get involved in the activities and get their eyes tested before they go back to school.

“Around 80 per cent of everything children learn is through their vision, so making sure they have healthy eyesight can have a big impact on their learning,” says James Coleman, store director at Specsavers in Sleaford.

“Our Easter Children’s Day is all about encouraging good eye health for children, while having fun and getting into the Easter spirit. We’re hoping that lots of parents will take advantage of the full clinic and free activities.”
