Easter joy for children

Staff at a Worksop funeral directors took ‘egg-stra’ care when they handed out more than a hundred Easter eggs to children in need of support.

The eggs were handed out to children by staff at Co-operative Funeral Care on Gateford Road, helped by local organisations The Child Contact Centre, Centre Place, and the Farr Community Centre on Wednesday 3rd April.

Joanna Jackson of Co-operative Funeralcare said they wanted to make Easter a special occasion for children and young people.

“We are so very grateful to members of the local community and businesses that have kindly donated eggs towards these worthy causes to help make a child smile this Easter,” she said.
