Eating disorder open evening for Worksop

AS PART of Eating Disorders Awareness Week, Worksop is set to host a special open evening.

Are you concerned about yourself or a member of your family not eating enough or losing weight rapidly? Are you or a member of your family maintaining weight by vomiting or over exercising?

If so, then at FREED Beeches are inviting members of the public along to drop in for a coffee and an informal chat. You will also have the opportunity to find out what help is available.

A spokesman said: “Eating disorders have the highest death rate of all psychiatric illnesses and the earlier they are diagnosed and addressed the better the chance of recovery.”

“It is much better to nip it in the bud than to wait until a person is very ill.”

FREED Beeches open evening will be on Tuesday 21st February from 5.30pm - 8.30pm at 39 Park Street, Worksop S80 1HW.
