ELDC lists ‘priority’ car parks for the winter weather

East Lindsey District Council has published a list of ‘priority’ car parks that it will try to keep clear during snow and ice this winter.

The priority car parks are Alford (Market Place), Horncastle (St Lawrence Street and Market Place Car Parks), Louth (Queen Street, Town Hall, Meridian Leisure Centre, North Gate, Cornmarket, Kidgate and Market Place), Mablethorpe (Station Sports Car Park), Skegness – (Lawn Car Park Hildreds and Embassy Car Park), and Spilsby (Post Office Lane and Middle Market Place).

Council operated car parks at Tesco in Horncastle and Co-op in Louth are contractually required to be kept free from ice and snow by the supermarket operator.
