Crash blocks A153 at Anwick and broken down vehicle disrupting A17 Sleaford bypass

Lincolnshire Police have reported that the A17 westbound is partially blocked this morning (Thursday) due to a broken down vehicle on the Sleaford bypass.
Reported at around 9am the stalled vehicle is said to be in the lane approaching Holdingham Roundabout from Heckington direction.
A police spokesperson warned: "There is thick fog in the area and we are asking road users to be aware and travel cautiously.
“We are waiting for recovery. Hopefully the vehicle will be removed within the hour.”
- Meanwhile, the A153 at Anwick Fen is also blocked in both directions due to a three-vehicle collision which happened earlier today.
The incident is reported by police to have happened at about 6.18am on the A153 Sleaford Road near Anwick between Old Black Drove and Black Drove.
Police said: “No serious injuries reported at this time. Please avoid the area and seek alternative routes.”
