A special thank you was also extended to Booker Skegness, who provided water for firefighters and police officers to distribute on scene, as well as to members of the public who kindly offered refreshments to crews during the incident.

Firefighters had earlier described the blaze as large-scale, deploying six appliances, an aerial ladder platform and a water carrier to bring the fire under control. Roads in the area were closed while emergency services responded, and residents were advised to keep windows and doors closed due to smoke.

Crews remained on scene into the evening to monitor the situation and ensure the area was safe.

The cause of the fire has not yet been confirmed.
