The foursome raised hundreds of pounds for the charity, Jack competing on his brand new wheelchair, and coming home in an admirable time of one hour and 15 minutes.

Matt Lawley, Head of Sports Events at Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research said: “Last Sunday’s Great Manchester Run saw over 300 ‘Unstoppable’ runners take to the streets to help raise thousands of pounds for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research. It is thanks to these supporters that we can continue in our mission to beat blood cancer, stop people from dying and make patients’ lives better.

“We were also delighted to see Jack Marshall complete his first ever adult race this year. His determination to raise money and awareness to help those affected by blood cancer is incredibly selfless and truly inspirational, and we continue to be humbled by his dedication to the charity.”
