Enid goes the extra mile

A BASSETLAW health care worker has scooped an award at the Trust’s OSCARS ceremony.

The Outstanding Service Contribution and Recognition Scheme (OSCARS) is held to recognise people who have gone the extra mile to provide high quality health services.

Enid Cassidy, health care environment co-ordinator on Ward B1 at Bassetlaw Hospital was named as Unsung Hero.

A spokesman said: “She puts vast amounts of time and energy into the standards of cleanliness, safety and the general environment on Ward B1.”

“Enid gets things done. She is kind and receptive and will go out of her way to respond quickly to carers’ concerns.”
