Enjoy a live open mic event at Fulstow Fest

Following two successful open mic events in Fulstow, organisers are now putting on a dedicated Fulstow Fest - an open air, open mic experience giving youngsters a platform to show off their musical talents.

The festival will take place on the green adjacent to Fulstow Village Hall on Saturday, July 23, kicking off from 4pm.

Organisers have been inundated with artists wanting to be part of the event.

Already, 23 acts have signed up to perform, from young and talented singer song writers to bands and rap artists, all local, ready to take their shot.

The festival will also be broadcast live, thanks to a little help from County Linx Radio.

As well as music, there will also be a BBQ, street food, neon face painting, a Pimms/Prosecco tent, bouncy castle, bar, and much more.

Fulstow Fest organisers have also secured a guest appearance from The Jam’d, who are the UK’s No1 tribute band to The Jam and have a big following across the country.

The festival will not only give youngsters a chance to perform, but will also raise funds for the upkeep of the village hall, which is a vital community asset.

Tickets are now on sale at £4 for adults and £2 for under 16s. with a family ticket £10.

And organisers are giving away five pairs of tickets, just for you, our readers.

To be in with a chance of winning, all you have to do is head over to Facebook, like the page Fulstow Village Hub and post #fulstowfest on their timeline.

The lucky winners will be selected at random and notified on Monday, July 18.
