NOTTINGHAM Capital FM Arena: The Black Keys with support from Band of Skulls. Performance starts 7.30pm. Blues-rock duo The Black Keys are set to storm into the Capital FM Arena. The pair, hailing from Ohio in the USA, will showcase their own mix of traditional blues and psychedelic rock stylings. Consisting of vocalist/guitarist Dan Auerbach and drummer/producer Patrick Carney, The Black Keys have sold nearly two million records worldwide since the release of their first album back in 2002 and are gaining increasing critical acclaim and recognition. RETFORD Majestic Theatre: The Ventriloquist. Performance at 7.30pm. The Show that rocked Britain’s Got Talent is back with a new awe inspiring jaw dropping sensation. Set in 1921 Berlin, this was the roaring 20s, a decedent decade and the birth of the cabaret. SHEFFIELD Motorpoint Arena: Snow Patrol. Doors open 6.30pm. Support band Everything Everything at 7.45pm. Main act 9pm. Snow Patrol’s new album, Fallen Empires, arrives with a serious reputation attached.
