Entries invited to Misterton annual show

Flowers and flower arrangements, fruit and veg, arts and crafts, and domestic produce - whatever your skill or age, there’s a class for you to enter at the annual Misterton Horticultural, Arts & Crafts Show at Misterton Sport Social Club on Sunday September 28.

This year, there’s a new class for first-time exhibitors: any fruit or veg from those listed in the schedule. There are novice classes for flower growers, too.

Entries for all classes may be brought on the day between 10am and 2pm. Judging begins at 2.15pm. All entries (other than those in reserved classes) will be auctioned for charity. The Show opens to the public at 5.30pm. Judging for the Best-kept Allotment competition was in July and the winner will be announced when awards are presented at 6pm. At 6.30pm, the auction of show produce begins; profits go to local charities and good causes.
