Environment Agency urges people to prepare for flooding

The Environment Agency is advising people across Worksop to remain vigilant and be prepared for flooding after the Met Office issued a warning of heavy rain for today into the weekend.

Teams have been working round the clock, with other emergency responders, checking flood defences, clearing blockages and monitoring river levels.

Members of the public are advised to stay away from swollen rivers and not to drive through floodwater.
