Blighted Belton spot’s facelift on the way
Plans for the redevelopment of an Isle picnic area are moving along.
North Lincolnshire Council leader, Coun Liz Redfern is pictured introducing the proposed designs to spruce up the toilets at the Belton site.
The ward member for Axholme Central said “ The picnic site was looking tired and in need of refurbishment. Local people had raised this issue with me over the last year and we are delighted to have been able to allocate some additional money to get this scheme off the ground.
“The scheme will form part of the wider works to improve the Isle of Axholme Greenway which will ultimately link Haxey through to Crowle”
