The event for Christian Aid Week is being hosted on Saturday, May 20 at 7pm by St Andrew’s Church, Heckington, in association with Global Sleaford - a Christian organisation set up to help the people of Sleaford understand the environmental threats the planet faces.

The event aims to help churches and their wider communities understand the causes and effects of climate change and to bring attention to its very real and devastating impacts on people across the world.

More optimistically, they will learn how our local community is responding and how we can all help to stem the tide and safeguard our planet for the next generation.

The event will highlight Christian Aid’s Campaign for Climate Justice and will raise funds for the organisation’s relief work.

The meeting will include a Local, Organic, Animal-friendly or Fairtrade supper.

Tickets are £5 by calling 01529 460272 or email [email protected]
