Rippon Homes wants to build a collection of three and four-bedroom homes on Hackthorn Road.

Rippon Homes managing director Ian Dyke said: “We are pleased to have submitted the planning application for this selection of new homes in Welton, which we hope will attract a range of
buyers.

“Through Rippon’s excellent craftsmanship, we will be offering high-specification and energy efficient homes for the community of
Welton.”

The application should be determined later this
month.

And, if successful, Rippon hopes to begin work on the development in April.

Residents in Welton have expressed concerns about the number of housing developments planned for the village.

They fear a large rise in homes will lead to infrastructure problems.
