Epworth opera star proves an inspiration

An Epworth singing sensation will have one more thing to celebrate this Christmas after being chosen as the inspiration for a new series of festive decorations.

Lesley Garrett CBE has been used as a muse for a glamorous collection of Christmas decorations with Keelham Farm Shop.

Pearl garlands, dove and heart-shaped tree decorations patterned with musical scores, glittering golden hanging tea light holders and shimmering silver baubles are among the elegant seasonal pieces.

Among the other individuals who have inspired Christmas collections at the Keelham Farm Shop are the Bronté sisters, Captain James Hook, David Hockney, Sir Titus Salt and Sir Fred Hoyle.

The Epworth star has sold thousands of albums, since she first shot to fame in 1984 and has performed all over the world, in countries throughout Europe, and also the United States, Australia, Russia, Brazil, Japan, Malaysia, Taiwan and South Korea.

She has also sung opera and pop classics with Bryan Ferry, Eurythmics and Mick Hucknall to celebrate the arrival of the new century on Millennium Eve in the grounds at the Royal Observatory and National Maritime Museum.

There are a total of 11 decorations in the Lesley Garrett collection, with prices ranging from £1 to £9.99.
