“We have a bumper show organized this year with new acts and entertainment with something for everyone, from daring horse acrobatics and motorbike stunts, to a sheep roadshow and fairground.”

This year’s show will be a special celebratory one, with a new arena for The Young Farmers, who will be hosting a range of events and activities for all to enjoy, including lawn mower racing and a tug of war.

The Vale of York Polo Club will be making another appearance with their skills demonstration, along with a sheep roadshow which will include the popular sheep shearing.

Another new addition to the main arena this year will be the galloping acrobatics equestrian show.

Continuing with the daring acts, a motorbike and quad show will be revving up the main arena, with their dare devil stunts as well as more than 100 modern tractors in the main parade, and a bumper classic cars and vintage tractor show.

For equestrian fans, there will be an unaffiliated show jumping class which is open to everyone, and also a new side saddle competition which will be held in the main arena, along with a horse in hand show and a range of cob classes.

Keeping in with the show’s tradition, there will also be the Horticultural tent, goats, shires and llamas, a petting area, and also a fun dog show.

“And we are grateful for all the hard work our committee of volunteers put in to make the show, as well as our many sponsors.
