Fantastic prize up for grabs for Isle couples

This fantastic offer is available to those who buy a raffle ticket at the Wedding Fayre on Sunday 22 February at the Civic Centre, Scunthorpe (11am to 3pm).

The council’s Register Office’s first Wedding Fayre is organised with Osh Gosh Gowns. The show will highlight the area’s venues, including North Lincolnshire Council’s new ceremony rooms at the Civic Centre.

There will be a fabulous fashion show with beautiful bridal gowns, outfits for the mother of the bride, menswear and bridesmaids dresses.

You will be able to watch hair and beauty demonstrations and visit the many exhibitors demonstrating flowers, cakes, cars, jewellery, photography, honeymoons and everything wedding related!

Raffle tickets will be on sale at the event and the winner will be announced at 3pm on the day. The prize applies to a wedding held in the newly approved Council Chamber at the Civic Centre in Scunthorpe (subject to availability). All raffle ticket proceeds will go to the Neonatal Ward at Scunthorpe Hospital.

Ali Prestwood, Superintendent Registrar, North Lincolnshire Council, said: “This is a fantastic prize that will help ease some of the financial burden for one lucky couple. The Council Chamber is a fantastic room with high ceilings and is beautifully furnished, making it the perfect location to get married.

“We are excited to be hosting our first Wedding Fayre on 22 February. It’s going to be packed full of everything you need to know about weddings! We have already had lots of interest from people wanting to take part and showcase their services and there’s still room for more.”
