Fashion show brings in cash for hospice

Leasingham Ladies Club held a fashion show in the village hall in conjunction with M and Co from Sleaford and raised £538 for charity.

The group had agreed to donate £300 of this figure to St Barnabas Hospice towards its ongoing local services.

At the club’s October meeting, treasurer Jean Stalham (pictured left) and president Barbara Atherton (right) handed over a cheque to Glenis Purdy, from the hospice’s Sleaford fundraising team.

At the meeting, the guest speaker was Rebecca Bagguley, from Cancer Research.
