Well here they are together in the same room at Celebrity Cutouts, based at a business park on Randall Park Way.

The company makes life-size cardboard cutouts and masks of famous celebrities, shipping thousands all over the world every week.

“Our One Direction cutouts are huge in America. The teenage girls are going mad for them,” said office manager Christie Kent.

“Here in the UK our most popular figures are probably Harry Styles, Gary Barlow, Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift.”

The business launched online last year with royal family masks for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Said Christie: “We sold loads more than we were expecting. So we decided to branch out and do Justin Bieber, and it’s just grown from there.”

“If there’s a particular celebrity you want, we can source them for you and print it.”

“We even do personalised products using a photo of yourself or a friend. They are especially popular for hen and stag parties.”

Famous faces from TV, movies, music, sport and even politics have been immortalised on card.

Said Christie: “Kids have these in their rooms instead of posters now. It’s that emotional factor that sells them.”

“We love to receive photos from people once they have received their celebrities. We get a lot of people posting them on our Facebook page.”

“The X-Factor producers ordered cutouts of each of the judges and sent us a photo of them all standing on set.”

“And one woman in New Zealand took a cutout of Hugh Jackman to her school reunion - it was an ice breaker and really got people talking.”

Some of the more unusual cardboard figures include Mayor of London Boris Johnson and Korean ‘Gangnam Style’ star Psy.

Finally, you might be wondering how on earth a 6ft tall cardboard Johnny Depp fits in the post.

Said Christie: “There are two discreet creases on each figure which allows them to fold down and fit into a sleeve no bigger than a pizza box.”

“And the smaller versions - our ‘minis’ range - fold up and fit in your handbag.”
