Female lung cancer rises
LUNG cancer continues to rise in East Midlands women according to Cancer Research UK. Around 1,200 women a year in the region are diagnosed.
Cases in the UK mirror smoking rates around two to three decades earlier, as 80 per cent of cases are tobacco related.
