As Lifestylers now return to school, it is the time for teams to put the finishing touches to their Lifestyle Log books and drop them into their local police station in an envelope clearly marked ‘Lifestyle’, to be in with a chance of scooping one of the amazing prizes we have on offer, including our top prize of a holiday of a lifetime to Disney World Florida!

The panel of primary judges are ready and waiting to read every log book submitted. This mammoth task takes approximately one month to complete, top teams will be invited to the glittering Lifestyle Awards in November.

Judith Cutts of the Humberside Police Youth Engagement team, and primary judge said: “I am looking forward to starting the Lifestyle judging, as we finally get to hear about all the good work which has been going on throughout the summer, learning how Lifestylers have made a difference in their local communities in a wide variety of ways. I am aware that some teams have been working hard to support local charities, assist those less fortunate and safeguarding by providing essentials for needy members of our community.”

Each team who return a project will receive a signed certificate from the Chief Constable to form part of their National Record of Achievement, we also have an amazing array of prizes on offer ranging from, gift vouchers, ‘Hot Rides’ at Silverstone, day trips to Flamingo Land and Alton Towers, and not forgetting the major prizes of PGL Adventure holidays to Wales and France. The overall winners of Lifestyle will win the holiday of a lifetime to Florida.

Lifestyle is now entering its 26th year and has attracted a staggering 158,000 participants working in excess of 2 ½ million hours to make a difference to their local communities to help others during the summer holidays.

Each year, Lifestyle offers young people aged between 10 to 16 years of age many opportunities to make positive contributions to their local communities, whilst learning essential life-skills, gain in confidence and self esteem, whilst reducing the fear of crime within communities.
