Fire damage to home in Skegness caused by unattended chip pan
An unattended chip pan led to a fire in the kitchen of a Skegness home.
Fire crews from Skegness and Wainfleet were called to Beacon Park Close just before 7pm yesterday.
Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue tweeted there was severe fire, heat and smoke damage to the chip pan, contents and work surfaces in the kitchen.
One hose reel was used to extinguish it and firefighters wore breathing apparatus..
