Fire-damaged Boston apartment block demolished (GALLERY)

A block of apartments in Boston that was left structurally unsafe by a fire earlier this week has been demolished.

Charlston Terrace, part of Haven Village, in London Road, suffered severe damage in the outbreak on Tuesday (July 19). These photographs, taken earlier today, show all that remains of the building. Eleven flats were affected in the blaze, but fortunately there were no casualties. The cause of the fire is believed to have been discarded smoking materials outside the building.
