Sean Compton of Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service said: “If you live or work in Kirton, Crowland or the surrounding areas then come along and see if you’ve got what it takes to be an on-call firefighter.

“You don’t have to stay long, just give some of the activities a go and take up the opportunity to talk to some of the crew.

“But if you’re interested in finding out more and aren’t able to attend either date, just pop in to your local station for a chat.

“On-call firefighters are men and women from all kinds of backgrounds and together form a vital part of Lincolnshire’s fire and rescue service.” For more information, visit www.lincolnshire.gov.uk/lfr, or call the Recruitment Team on 0800 358 0204.
