Firefighters called to chimney fire in Sleaford house
Sleaford firefighters attended a chimney fire on Stokes Drive in town last night (Thursday).
The incident, reported at 8.19pm, saw crews using chimney gear and a thermal imaging camera to check for hot spots as they extinguished the flames.
Earlier in the afternoon, firefighters from Metheringham fire station joined crews from Lincoln and Waddington to help casualties involved in a two-vehicle collision on the B1188 at Bracebridge Heath.
They attended the crash shortly after 4.30pm and used hydraulic cutting gear to release one casualty, according to a fire service spokesman.
